I Am Legend, The Last Man On Earth


I Am Legend is a 2007 post-apocalyptic science fiction horror film directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Will Smith. It is the third feature film adaptation of Richard Matheson's 1954 novel of the same name, following 1964's The Last Man on Earth and 1971's The Omega Man. Smith plays virologist Robert Neville, who thinks he may be Earth's only surviving human not affected by a vicious man-made virus. He works to create a cure while living in a city inhabited by mutant victims of the airborne virus.

Filmed mainly on location in the New York city, this movie carries a $5 million scene at the Brooklyn Bridge, the most expensive scene ever filmed in the city.

No Country for Old Men

image Written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen and starring Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, and Javier Bardem. "No Country for Old Men" is an adaption from the Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name.

No Country for Old Men tells the story of a drug deal gone wrong and the ensuing cat-and-mouse drama as three men crisscross each other's paths in the desert landscape of 1980 West Texas.

Starring Tommy Lee Jones as Sheriff Ed Tom Bell, Josh Brolin as Llewelyn Moss and Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh, No Country for Old Men was nominated for eight Academy Awards, of which, it won four, Best Motion Picture, Best Actor in Supporting role (Javier Bardem), Best Direction (Joel Coen and Ethan Coen), Best Screenplay -Adapted (Joel Coen and Ethan Coen). Planet Earth - The Complete BBC Series is a result of over 5 years of Hard work shooting over 200 locations and that it had a budget of $25 million itself shows how grand the final product would be.
